Staying Motivated

Staying motivated is hard believe me! When I set out to lose weight I lost 10 pounds right off the bat, I felt awesome. That was my stick point. A stick point is when you drop weight and cant seem to lose anymore. Stick points can drive people mad. They stop seeing results so they become unmotivated and stop working out, jogging and walking. There are ways around sticking points, once you hit that point change up your routine or diet or both. One thing you have to remember is keep being active! One thing that got me going is something that my mentor always said to me, "hey college man! There are a lot of people that would like to change places with you!" He is right think about all the people in hospitals or even 6ft under. Every time you wake up there are people who don't. Just think of all the people in wheelchairs who would love to be able to walk for an hour or jog for 30 minutes or even do a squat. Some other things that can keep you motivated are your co-workers or spouse. If they doubt you use it as your fuel to keep on going. Think of every person who has ever told you that you cant do something. So keep on keeping on!
